For mounting non-standard sample holders, note that once the sample-selecting stage (vphic) and wedge are removed, the working distance from the vsamx-vsamy stages is 89-129 mm (samz range is 40 mm).
Attachment 1 is the spec sheet for the vsamx-vsamy stages, HUBER-EN-5102.10, and shows the hole pattern available on the stage. The maximum width/depth that can fit without conflicting with the beamstop assembly is 140 mm x 140 mm. Sizes greater than 100 mm x 100 mm will restrict the range of motion of vsamy and bstopy. |
