Received in a wooden box set:
1) Spatial Analyzer USB key in New River Kinematics USB key
2) a USB dongle on a purple USB stick labelled Sentinel.
The latter is used with the software for license.
The software was installed with issue noted in att. 2.
You launch the software from the New Rivers Kinematics folder in the start menu
and it looks like this. We run it as 8ideuser.

Subject: New AT-403 Laser tracker from Leica tests on 8ID
Hi Mike,
for the APS-U 8-ID beamline, we've procured a new laser tracker from Leica, model AT-403.
Bill Jansma will help me with setting it up. It uses multiple class 1 lasers of various
wavelengths, and is classified as a class II laser.
Do I need any permission to start using it today?
Eric

Hi Eric,
No issue with it being a class II, but we ask that it not be mounted at eye level. Thank you.

Summary, Bill set up the Laser Tracker today, reflecting on a 1.5" retroreflector
on the table. We installed additional software "Tracker Pilot" (see att. 5),
and in the afternoon, I connected to the APS wired network and
made a new connection with Tracker Pilot. I made a copy of the software on
my 8-ID-E folder. Mary registered it in IHW, and after rebooting it got the IP below.

Eric,
I checked with my colleague Shawn this morning on the AT403 Battery Questions you asked on Friday afternoon, here is Shawn’s response.
for the 960 and the 40x trackers the batteries are not charged when plugged in with power cable as well-the batteries are only for back up
power or when power is unplugged for a move or to be used when in an area that power is not available. The batteries are only charged when
on the charging station for the AT 40x trackers. For the AT 960 systems the batteries are charged when power cable is plugged into the
battery but will not charge if they are only connected to the controller-does that answer your questions
Let me know if you need anything else,

Hi Matt; Eric,
Would you please locate the 5 digit license dongle number for your seat of Spatial Analyzer software and send it to me?
It is located on the back of the USB license key...
I received notice for renewal and there is a number I am not familiar with - thinking it might possibly be your license.
The numbers were 10518 and 10519 - maybe you have one of them?
Kindly let me know...
Thank You,
Bill

Bill,
I confirm the number 10518 is for 8ID-E.
Thanks for highlighting this, I am making a note for myself.

Hi Eric,
I think there has been a mix-up in who got which license.
License #10518 is the Pro version of Spatial Analyzer, and #10519 is the Ultimate version.
We are in possession if #10519, but I recall that we ordered the Pro version.
Can you confirm whether your order included the Ultimate version? This should be listed in your original invoice from Hexagon.
If so, we will need to exchange the license keys... Sorry for the confusion - this just came to my attention.
Kind regards,
Bill
