Flux is the same as on 9/21, so mirror and diamx are in good shape. What we found last fiscal year is that when
the operation mode doesn't change, the source point returns roughly to the same position from week to week.
Flux is 1.3x10^12 ph/s with 250x250 si1 slit, mono at 10.945 keV as last alignment on 9/21/21.

Flux in 8-ID-I pind1 is same as last week, so I'm not touching the mirror.
Flux on pind1 is 7.48x10^11 ph/s in 250 um x 150 um (HxV).
Flux on pind2 is also good. Flux is 3.61x10^10 ph/s, very very close to
last week. I am getting ready now.

Flux on pind1 was 2% below that of 10/13/21.
Flux on pind2 was right on.
Flux on pind4 was 2.2x10^10 ph/s

Flux with 250umx250um si1 is 1.08x10^12 ph/s in 8-ID-I. We can align 8ID-E Joe.
[9:41 AM] Dufresne, Eric
This is lower than on 10/4/21, 1.31/1.08= 1.21 so 21%. I am not hunting this down Narayanan, Suresh.
[10:31 AM] Dufresne, Eric
A lot less signal on pind2 FYI, only 1.44x10^10 ph/s (flux pind2 32493-1355), i..e 40% of 10/12/21.
Didn't see anything obvious. We are only 87% of pind1 from 10/12.

We determined that the lost flux last week was because we didn't pump the 8-ID-I beamline.

Strzalka, Joe I think we are happy in 8-ID-I. Fell free to start Jiang, Zhang and Strzalka, Joe.

To summarize, we are in a new mode of operation in Hybrid mode from 324 bunch-mode last week. Flux in 8-ID-I is back
to normal at 1.33x10^12 ph/s in a 250x250 um si1, and 7.93x10^11 ph/s in a 250 (H) x 150 (V) beam on pind1.

[9:45 AM] Dufresne, Eric
Zhang, Qingteng The beam is also in good shape on pind2 with a flux of 3.28x10^10 ph/s in a 15 um H si1hgap.
This is only 10% lower that on 10/19/2021 where it was 3.6x10^10 ph/s. Recall last week it was only 1.44x10^10 ph/s.
I am going to let you take over. I have something at 10am for APS-U, and I don't know what you have in the sample stage.

I did also perform a crlx scan with pind2 with si2 at 150 um (V) by 15 um (H).
This is shown here: https://8id.xray.aps.anl.gov/specplots/8idi/2021/11/tingxu20211117/s00002.svg
The transmission is quite flat, would expect the beam footprint of 0.25 mm so looks good
when sampled with 15 um beam on si2hgap.

Preparing for 7.35 keV in 8ID-I.
Will focus on sample, equivalent to N=7, R=0.2 mm.
Labelled earlier a lens set with red dot.
I think I located it so that I would use it this time.
Also labelled a second set with a blue dot, set was labelled 4A as well.

12/08/21
Good alignment of 8-ID for 7.35 keV ops. Flux down 13% from Nov 2 alignment.
