Subject: Setting up Eiger S 500k 3kfps on 11/03/2021 due to Lambda250K failure

https://logbook.xray.aps.anl.gov/8id/8-ID/647 Previous Eiger loan in 2019

This is a new Unit, Eiger S 500k, 3,000 fps. Above was 9 kfps from Junjing,
so it had different mounting. As such, I attach the mounting pictures below
https://anl.app.box.com/folder/149430416536
and specifically, these pictures are relevant for this Eiger:
My Drawings are also in my Detector folder under Dectris/Eiger

On C032 the highest counts are 24 and there are 6
pixels with 2^32 and -1.

Need to convert to pixel size!

Thanks Nino,

do I have the Eiger R then?
1 mm^2 is 177.8 pixels, the curve for 8 keV is more non-linear too (working at 7.35 keV),
so if you say you don't need correction for > 50 Mcps/mm^2 incident,
you should keep the count rate below 281 kcps/pixel!

Eric

That sounds reasonable. You have an S but the difference is the R is USB and the S is 10G Ethernet.
