Subject: Re: 8id linux machines
tcsh reads startup files a little differently than csh. If you have a file named .tcshrc in your home directory,
tcsh reads that instead of .cshrc. This is what is happening probably for 8idiuser:
[root@snow ~]# su - 8idiuser
Last login: Mon Apr 18 19:55:53 CDT 2022 from 164.54.60.45 on pts/5
/usr/local/oag/apps/src/appconfig/adt
[8idiuser@snow ~]$ ll .tcshrc
-rw-rw-r-- 1 8idiuser s8staff 314 Apr 12 15:38 .tcshrc
[8idiuser@snow ~]$

Troy,
Thank you, that worked, moved .tcshrc.
