Hi all,
With startup just a few days away I thought it a good time to remind everyone to maintain their due diligence in keeping our chem labs tidy and safe…
Thank you again to Anne Marie for initiating a simplified guide for chem waste (attached), which now resides in both sectors 7 and 8 chem labs for all to see… This version has the addition of a QR code which links directly to the epa.gov website where you can simply enter a chemical name and see if it’s a listed F-K-P-U hazardous waste. (Note: free QR code reader apps are readily available for your cell phones)
Also attached are the latest version of the APS chem waste forms. Please download this new version and discard older ones…
