The Fast Shutter for the GIXS instrument is a Cedrat fast shutter, installed 09 Dec 2020. It is located downstream of the intensity monitor pind1 and upstream of the filter banks.
During an interim period, the instrument used a thick foil on the 2nd filter bank, XIA2, Filter 3 as a temporary fix (20-24 Nov 2020).
Prior to that, since at least Nov 2008, the fast shutter was by AZsol.

The rack 12044 drives the FPS400M S/N 18002, installed in 8ID-G.
